This Moth Eats Footnotes — Woodcut-style book poster for library staff

Some readers devour books. This moth starts with the footnotes.

Designed for library staff with a taste for bookish humor, this poster features an oversized moth centered over an open book with a bite-shaped notch along the right-hand page edge. Bold “This Moth Eats Footnotes” lettering makes the joke easy to catch without hunting through tiny scholarly details.

The woodcut/linocut-inspired illustration swaps familiar celestial decoration for one concrete library joke: an insect with an appetite for the fine print. Give it a spot in a reading nook, home office, or staff workspace where fellow readers can discover the punch line.
