This Tree Has Footnotes — Woodcut-Style Book Christmas Poster for Librarians

A Christmas tree with a reference section. “This Tree Has Footnotes” turns stacked books into one unmistakable evergreen, pairing a librarian-specific joke with a bold, readable holiday design.

Book-page edges build the tree’s silhouette, while woodcut-style textures, large lettering, and a restrained ink palette keep the composition focused. Rather than a collage of literary motifs, this print gives your reading space one clear seasonal statement.

Display it near a reference desk, in a staff reading corner, or alongside a seasonal book display. It’s a festive nod to the people who know that the notes are often worth reading.
